There have been talks about using keyword phrases that are pre-selected, position them into the content and other important areas in your web page. Most of the people who search online would use keyword phrases to search what they want to look for. Positioning your keyword phrases in your web page in a deliberate way, will place you a good ranking with the search engines. Well you may want to use more of the keyword phrases in the web page, but this is not good, and too little is not good too. So how do you find out how much is enough?
What you need to know is “Keyword Effective Index” aka KEI in your web page. KEI is a term to measure how effective a keyword phrase would be good for your web page to be rank well in the search engines. This is a very technical term where KEI calculate the number of searches for a keyword phrase to the number of search results, there are your competition. The higher the KEI, the better you rank in the search engines. Because you do not have a lot of competition and a lot of searches.
Now you will need to think of what are the search terms people will be searching online. There are a number of ways you can find the keyword phrases:
1. Ask friends how they will search online
2. Brainstorm what you terms you will search online
3. Using keyword research tool Now you have to find out what is the KEI for your keyword phrases, below is the calculation for KEI.
KEI=Number of Searches / Number of Results
